Queenstown Cup 2024
The 5th Annual Battle for the Queenstown Cup presented by Enigma Hockey kicked off with the Stags taking on their mates in the Dawgs in the first game of the epic 5 day tournament.
It was a challenging schedule that kept the team on their toes with the Stags taking out 7th place in the B-Grade division.
Each game the team were fired up and ready to win, fuelled by post game 'Southern Sushi' courtesy of our Southland born & bred defence powerhouse, Rachel!

Stags End of '24 Season Wrap
What a season! The Southern Stags battled hard and secured a strong 2nd place finish in the Queenstown Beer League on Monday night. With swift play, solid defense, and unbeatable team spirit, the Stags fought every game with determination and a healthy dose of humor.
Though we fell just short of the championship, we’re proud of the effort, the laughs, and the support from our fans and sponsors. Big thanks to all our players, volunteers and coaches who have backed us all season!
We’re already gearing up for more hockey in 2025 – stay tuned for more Stags action very soon!
QBL 2024
The Queenstown Beer League has kicked off for 2024 with the team playing against 5 other local teams from Queenstown.
The team plays every Monday night from 7pm, so head down and support the team!
